Back to the Trenches

My life has come full circle. Back at my college paper I created a weird little gossip column called “Report from the Trenches,” which were meant to quick little bits of irreverent campus reportage. I have no idea why I called it that; I suppose college felt like a kind of war? And I’m terrified to go back and read any of that shit. That said… the news section of this website will do more of the same: quick little bits of irreverent reportage from your friendly neighborhood pulp hack. I thought about writing these news updates as if I had a harried, much put-upon full-time assistant cranking out these things… but of course, that will ruin the fun when I actually hire a harried, much put-upon full-time assistant someday. So for now, you’re stuck with me, telling you about the stuff I have coming out, podcasts I’m on, comics I’ve written, and perhaps even some shocking gossip.
